Sarah Jeffrey, Registered Psychotherapist (Q)


Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is open to working with teens, adults, and seniors.

Sarah draws from CBT, DBT, IFS and ACT in her integrative, trauma informed approach to helping individuals manage emotional distress and create a life they are proud to live in line with their values. Sarah helps individuals process trauma, develop skills to manage emotional overwhelm, improve their functioning in relationships, set and maintain healthy boundaries, as well as mindfulness skills to avoid living life on autopilot. Sarah draws on her varied life experiences to connect empathetically with clients and helps clients understand how cultural factors shape their life in impactful ways.

Sarah completed her Undergraduate Degree in Psychology at McMaster University in 2005 and her Early Childhood Educator diploma in 2007 before working in various roles in the education system for 15 years. Sarah loved her time doing this work, however, during the pandemic when schools shut down, Sarah decided to make a career change and complete her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

Sarah lives in Brantford with her blended family that includes her partner, their children, and their large loveable dog. Sarah is an avid reader and hiker. She also plays volleyball and hosts game nights with friends to de-stress.
